Required Qualifications:  

  • University degree in engineering, science or business and a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience
  • Minimum of 10 years successful experience as a product manager or business leader working globally
  • Experience partnering externally along the value chain including relationships/negotiations with suppliers, end customers, intermediate systems integrators and industry influencers
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, use of the business tools, and complex contract negotiation including liability risk management
  • Strong track record of driving business portfolio choices causal to sustainable profitable growth
  • Strong track record managing successful product development through partnership with the technical function
  • Track record of coaching and developing cross functional Associates (Product Manager, Sales/Marketing, Supply Chain, Technical) for increased contribution to business plan
  • Successful track record of effectively working in and developing teams internationally
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and drive effective action through complex external value chains and external/internal supply chains
  • Ability to travel ~15%, including international travel

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience with driving growth through value creating mergers and acquisitions and/or establishing and managing joint development agreements, joint ventures, etc
  • Experience in regulated markets (such as automotive, government contracts, , process industries, etc)
  • Experience in driving change and transformation e.g. utilizing systems, digitization in delivering profit growth

Hybrid Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s hybrid working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
