Calibration Instrumentation Technician

Related 2 year technical degree OR a minimum of 4 years equivalent experience repairing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial/ laboratory equipment OR CCT (Certified Calibration Technician) Accreditation through ASQ (American Society for Quality)

Experience working within a quality system or regulated business and ability to adhere to detailed written procedures

Knowledge of calibration related regulations, standards, and guidance documents (21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, NIST, etc.)

Demonstrated electronic and mechanical proficiency in working with industrial or laboratory equipment such as manufacturing equipment, logic control systems, pneumatics, electromechanical mechanisms, and drives

Proficient with functions and use of various measurement equipment (i.e. process calibrators, timers, RF, etc.)

Proficient with computer programs such as computerized calibration /maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Complete tasks both independently and as a team member, while working towards team established goals

Effective oral & written communication skills
-
Ability to work weekends and off-hours to meet customer needs
-
Ability to work at heights of at least 15 feet, lift 50 lbs., and work in challenging locations

Successful completion of PMEL training
-
Experience with Uncertainty Budgets, Test Uncertainty Ratios and Test Accuracy Ratios

Knowledge of clean room requirements
