Document Control Specialist (f/m/d)
About the Role: We are looking for a Document Control Specialist (f/m/d) to join our team in Pleinfeld, near Nuremberg. In this role, you will own various document and information management related tasks within our Quality Management System (QMS) for maintaining the QMS and SAP implementation site readiness. You will provide Document Control support to daily system needs, compliance requirements and other improvement efforts in the plant.
This is a temporary position for 12 months and will be located at our facility in Pleinfeld, Bavaria, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Document control support to organize the current state, manage the daily system needs, and support critical project input and execution
- Complete updates to documents and documented processes in support of SAP readiness and implementation
- Ensure documents meet CMMC and Export Control requirements prior to SAP implementation
- Support process validation documentation implementation
- Ensure retention of documented information
- Transition current system documents to Word files in preparation for digital tool transition
Required Qualifications:
- Completed commercial training, e.g. industrial clerk and relevant professional experience
- Strong computer skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work through and resolve problems
- Possess well developed organization, coordination, and prioritization skills
- Passion for the right first-time methodology and maintaining a high level of product quality, as well as a continuous improvement mindset
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and comparable quality standards
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in electronic Quality Management System
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with ownership for Information Control QMS processes
