Electrical Automation Design Engineer
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school
- Minimum of 3 years professional work experience working as an integral part of a cross-functional team
- Experience with PLC logic or other industrial control and HMI interface programming
- Demonstrated experience leading, prioritizing, and completing multiple technical projects and daily tasks
- Experience performing electrical design and hands-on support for process equipment
- Experience with industrial drives and controls
- Ability to translate ambiguous customer needs to defined equipment requirements
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and machine safety practices
- Ability and desire to work in a hands-on medical device manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC and drive programming, temperature controllers, and robotics
- Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawing experience to generate schematics, 3D electrical panel layouts, and other documentation
- Work knowledge of electrical code and standards for industrial equipment design
