Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in an electrical discipline or Journey level electrical skills with a minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial environment
  • Experience with controls and controls programming (PLCs)
  • Basic understanding of  OSHA, NEC, NFPA codes
  • Desktop computer skills, coupled with basic understanding of networking and operating systems as related to control systems
  • Utilize good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to follow written procedures and work from drawings
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks while handling complex projects
  • Ability to work overtime, work weekends and perform on call duties as required to meet business needs
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to; safety glasses, safety shoes, and other required PPE based on the associated hazards of the work task including chemical protective clothing and an Airhood (Supplied Air) Respirator
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently with the ability to mentor associates including apprentices, collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently
  • Ability to travel up to 5%

Desired Qualifications:

  • Allen Bradley PLC and variable speed drive (VFD) experience
  • Building Automation System (BAS) and controllers (Niagara, Tridium etc.)
  • Understanding and familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics and vacuum systems
