Electrician

Required Qualifications:

• Journey level electrical skills with minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in an industrial production facility including web handling and batch processing, Allen Bradley PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and variable speed drive experience
• Instrumentation, calibration experience
• Understanding and familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and vacuum systems
• Strong understanding of OSHA, NEC (National Electric Code), NFPA codes
• Desktop computer skills, with an understanding of CAD to work from drawings coupled with basic understanding of networking and operating systems as related to automation controls.
• Utilize good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to follow written procedures
• Ability to mentor associates including apprentices, collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while handling complex projects
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment including, working from ladders, aerial lifts, and wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to; safety glasses, safety shoes, and other required PPE based on the associated hazards
• Ability to work overtime, work weekends, perform on call duties respond to vendor concerns after normal working hours as required to meet business needs
• Ability to travel up to 5%

Desired Qualifications:

• Siemens PLC and variable speed drive experience
• Welding, fabrication, mechanical and rigging skills
• Wonderware HMI (Human Machine Interface) experience
