EMEA Payroll Specialist (f/m/d)
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years related experience in payroll processing and vendor management
- Experience using chart of accounts and understanding of basic payroll accounting while applying laws, codes, policies and procedures that impact the end-to-end payroll process across countries
- Experience working in virtual, multicultural, with overseas and local teams, with demonstrated decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of payroll administration including basics of the payroll cycle, time and attendance, gross to net, deductions, taxes, direct deposits, live checks from data collection to booking to general ledger across multiple countries especially for Germany is highly desirable
- Solid and current understanding of payroll rules, tax regulations, labor laws, policies and practices governing wage payments, distributions, and record keeping across multiple jurisdictions
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and influencing skills
- Be proactive, agile, number-sensitive, analytical and detail-oriented, critical thinker, process improvements
- Ability to work under pressure and perform multifaceted projects in conjunction with daily activities and handle confidential information with discretion
- Experienced consulting and collaborating with leaders and teams in process optimization and compliance governance projects
- Self-starter who can prioritize work and organize workload simultaneously with minimal supervision, passion for learning, critical thinking and high level of follow through
- Good written and verbal communication in English & German is a must
Desired Qualifications:
- Payroll or Financial certification preferred with equivalent experience
- ADP Streamline or other Managed Outsourced Solution
