Environmental and Safety Management System Specialist
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience with implementation, optimization and sustainment of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or equivalent EHS management systems.
- Experience in working with Occupational Health & Safety requirements and regulations and applying system techniques to improve Health & Safety performance.
- Experience applying risk-based decision making to workplace tasks, hazards, or processes
- Experience in creating and presenting data and metrics to drive informed business decisions.
- Qualified to perform internal management system and compliance audits for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements as a lead auditor.
- Ability to work across cultures and ability to work in an inclusive, rapidly evolving work environment.
- Ability to work and influence virtually across functions and global time zones (Germany, Japan, China).
- Ability to work within project timelines, project practices, and apply project tools to achieve desired results.
- Strong MS 365/MS Office skills including experience with MS SharePoint, MS Teams.
- Ability to travel up to 30% to attend key meetings and conduct audits
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in energy management systems (ISO 50001) and quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
- Experience with using digital tools supporting EH&S processes/management systems (e.g. VelocityEHS).
- Experience with PowerBi or similar.
