Facility Services Associate (f/m/d)
About the Role: We are looking for a Facility Services Associate (f/m/d) to join our team in Dundee. In this role, you will provide facility services, asset management and maintenance activities, and drive environmental and safety improvement initiatives, to ensure a safe, operational, comfortable and compliant work environment.
This position will be located at our facility in Dundee, Scotland.
- Champion and lead identified facilities projects in Dundee, including Capital investments and proactive and reactive repairs & maintenance initiatives
- Understand and apply Project management tools and effectively organize information relevant to work schedule, coordinating trades, contractors and consultants to meet project timelines
- Provide day-to-day Facility Services maintenance activities at Dundee, including direct engagement/hosting facility and ground related contractors
- Establish priorities and ensure their alignment with business goals.
- Execute continuous improvement projects to improve effectiveness and efficiency in maintenance activities
- Drive identified environmental and safety improvement initiatives, including risk assessments and hazard control, in partnership with EH&S
- Engage with regional and US Facilities associates, as appropriate for knowledge transfer and shared best practices, including sustainability topics and metrics
- Implement effective control of facilities and equipment information including service and maintenance records leveraging Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software. Schedule work appropriately, coordinating activities with other functions as required
- Provide main point of contact for our regular contractors e.g. cleaning and canteen provision
- Raise orders and resolve any invoicing concerns to maintain supplies and utilities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified master craftsman / technician (f/m/d) or comparable professional experience (e.g. senior fitter) in building, energy or supply technology
- Several years of in-depth professional experience in the construction industry, maintenance in the field of building services and/or facility management, ideally in an industrial environment
- Confident in use of IT tools (MS Office, document management and Asset management systems)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a proven ability to collaborate and partner both with other functions
- Passionate about developing, implementing and continually improving the Facility
- Ability to efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns
- The ideal candidate will be a team player, who demonstrates a high level of commitment, technical understanding and a structured, mindful and result-oriented way of working
Desired Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or a related subject
- Knowledge of fire protection and energy management systems
