About the Role: We are looking for a Global Account Director to join our team. In this role, you will lead Global Brand & Events for marketing and be responsible for the oversight and coordination needed to ensure flawless execution within Gore. Additionally, you will work across the company to develop and execute on an annual Communications Plan that will deliver business results and ensure a connection back to the Brand strategy.

 

This position will be located at our facility in Phoenix, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

 
Responsibilities: 
  • Align with the Global Marketing Leader and Category Leader to understand the Brand/Event strategy and develop an annual Global Communications Plan that will deliver the business results and ensure connection back to the Brand Strategy 
  • Lead development of Communication Plans and Campaigns/events, including investment recommendations that deliver on target market share/growth objectives and identify appropriate metrics and KPIs to measure performance (monthly/quarterly) and partner with regional Account Directors
  • Obtain regional campaign/event performance monthly vs. objectives for all regions launched and share performance with Global Marketing Leader and Category Leader and/or Brand/Events leaders
  • Lead development of messaging and creative with agency partners as it relates to the global campaigns and ensure inclusion of Marketing Category Leader and Brand Manager 
  • Collaborate with the Regional Account Directors to ensure regional inputs are included in global NPD launch content (or Event/Brand), cross-product/cross-portfolio campaigns (developed by global teams), and clear understanding and agreement of regional needs and global deliverables
  • Oversee creation of global campaign assets (Global Playbook) that is MLR approved for target regions and align with regional Account Directors to ensure assets support new product launches with target customers
  • Responsible for overall completion of the project/campaign and the project health 
  • Responsible for identifying conflicts in activities in the campaign calendar and collaborating with the Regional Marketing Leader/Global BG Marketing Leader to prioritize and resolve conflicts
  • Understand competitive insights/activities and provide insights and analysis to stakeholder partners
  • Identify major cross-regional Congresses/Events that are relevant for the product category and ensure appropriate inclusion and tie in with Brand Strategy

 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 7 years of integrated marketing experience with a strong digital focus in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience showing outstanding negotiation, influencing and partnership skills  
  • Proven strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead development of impactful Marketing Communications Plans that target specific customers, drive them to action, deliver on business results, and incorporate the needs of multiple regions
  • Demonstrated ability to forge relationships with stakeholder partners, cross-functional and cross-regional members
  • Demonstrated ability to drive collaboration with external agencies on the creation of major campaigns, strategies, and messaging to meet business objectives with target customers
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the Marketing Tech Stack, recommend actions that deliver measurable results (e.g. web, CRM, sales channel, digital, email, social, etc.), and use of metric/KPIs related to marketing activities
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify the complex, present to internal and external audiences, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in a global organization and with multinational teams 
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in major markets of US and additionally Europe, Japan, or China
