Global HR Business Partner (f/m/d)
About the Role: We are looking for a senior Global HR Business Partner (f/m/d) to join the HR Team supporting the global Gore Fabrics Supply Chain and Technical Function.
The position will be located at our facility in Putzbrunn, Bavaria, with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary HR partner for global and local functional leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy, priorities and execution resulting in business growth
- Understand overall business and functional strategy, capitalize opportunities to enhance alignment with strategy by enabling leaders to identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes
- Drive leading talent management and development processes resulting in increased employee and leadership capabilities and a strong and diverse succession bench strength
- Diagnose gaps between current and desired organizational/functional performance and facilitate/deploy actions to resolve those gaps (including organization redesign and transformation, process change, change leadership, coaching and training)
- Analyze workforce trends to model and forecast future resource requirements to support leaders in workforce planning and succession management
- Review key business performance targets and their related talent/capability implications with leaders
- Align performance and development strategies with Total Rewards approaches to foster an engaging and respectful environment of commitment and drive accountability to outcomes & contribution across teams
- Deliver on core HR processes with legal implications in close collaboration with other partners in HR Fabrics and the Enterprise
- Be an active member and partner closely with our Gore Fabrics HR Team as well as our Enterprise global HR Services and COEs to ensure HR delivery is aligned with business needs and well-executed
- Model our unique Enterprise culture as a source of competitive advantage
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (HR, Law, Organizational Effectiveness or related field preferred)
- 10+ years of global functional HR experience from within at least 5+ years in a global HR Business Partner Role
- Demonstrated experience and capability in leadership coaching and consulting, complex facilitation, contracting, conflict resolution, change management, organizational design and development
- Strong working knowledge of human resources practices and core people processes, with extensive experience in understanding and applying German labor laws, related social laws and best practices
- Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative workforce data, recognize trends, tie back to business priorities and develop recommendations based on data analysis
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across a global matrix organization, as well as x-cultural relationship and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish credibility, proactive approach, able to deal effectively with ambiguity and transformation; acts as a trusted thought-partner
- Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written
- Ability to travel up to 15%
