Instructional Designer - Sales Education
About the Role:
Our rapidly growing Gore Medical is seeking an Instructional Design professional to join the Global Sales Education team. The role involves partnering with subject matter experts (SMEs) to scope, design, execute and maintain learning paths, programs, and experiences. It calls for sophisticated program development and the ability to creatively translate product, technical and business acumen concepts across the range of blended learning methodologies (instructor led, eLearning, on demand, just-in-time, etc.)
This position will be located at our facility in Phoenix, Tempe, or Flagstaff, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and define performance/learning needs and objectives and consult with them as to the most appropriate deliverables to meet those objectives in alignment with Sales Education, Sales, and Marketing strategies
- Manage and execute the end-to-end program design, hands-on development, implementation, and evaluation of training deliverables and ensure timelines and approval processes are met
- Lead projects through the design and development lifecycle from analysis, design, development, and launch, providing clear timelines through all phases of development
- Create visual concepts that deliver creative and branded information through imagery for our field-based Associates
- Partner with Sales Education team members, sales, and marketing teams in regulated medical environments to develop training and learning programs for global implementation
- Demonstrate strong support of the Gore Culture and Sales Education team values
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the Instructional Design / adult learning theory or in related field, including at least 1 year of experience project managing and owning the development of learning programs
- Experience design and developing learning experiences for global audiences and customizing it to meet business needs
- Demonstrated experience creating clinical, technical, and business acumen content aligned with adult learning principles
- Demonstrated experience with proven expertise in graphic design, animation integrated with the full Articulate 360 suite authoring tool
- Recommendations for implementation of new processes and tools
- Ability to identify performance gaps through needs and task analysis
- Ability to support the implementation of a strategic training and development plan aligned to business objectives
- Ability to evaluate and assess training effectiveness and business impact
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and/or related SCORM or MS Office 365
- Video, audio, and/or AI simulation authoring tools
