Laboratory Technician

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Scientific discipline OR Minimum of 1 year experience as a Lab Technician in a regulated industry OR Minimum of 3 years experience in a lab
• Experience working in a quality system and/or within a regulated industry
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and ability to follow established safety practices
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to accurately collect data and document laboratory activities in the quality system or in lab notebooks
• Proficiency in typical office computer software such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to work within a continuously changing environment, meet tight deadlines, and be motivated to provide excellent customer service
• Proven ability to work effectively within teams as well as independently
• Ability to follow protocols and standard operating procedures accurately, repetitively, and without distraction
• Ability to work with various laboratory instruments, software, supplies, and reagents

Desired Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
• Experience working with a variety of analytical instruments
• Ability to design and execute experiments and analyze data
