About the Role: We are looking for a Multi-Craft Technician to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will repair and maintain manufacturing and R&D equipment.

 

This role will be located at our facility in Santa Clara, California.

 

Pay and Benefits:

  • $43.25 - $57.69 per hour 
  • This role is eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour).

Responsibilities: 

  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment within a clean room and supporting infrastructure
  • Respond to maintenance service calls, perform scheduled and unscheduled work, installations, and enhancements of machinery and equipment
  • Ensure Quality System requirements are being met
  • Work with multiple teams across the division including production, skilled trades and technical Associates while maximizing schedule efficiency and minimizing impact to manufacturing
  • Document work performed per procedures
  • Maintain compliance with training expectations as required for this position
  • Be responsible for additional responsibilities within the scope of this position

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an apprentice program or 2 year Technical Degree or a minimum of 2 years experience in repairing, maintenance and/or calibration of equipment
  • Experience using computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Maintenance Management Systems, Excel, Power Point, Word, etc)
  • Experience with at least 2 of the following; Pneumatics, motors and gear drives/controls, automation, temperature controls, water systems, pumps, and PLC’s
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment; including production equipment
  • Electrical experience up to and including 208 volts, and understand basic electronics/electrical theory
  • Working knowledge of electrical mechanical drawings/schematics and measurement equipment (i.e., multi-meters, timers, calipers, etc)
  • Solid understanding of the use of power tools and shop practices,
  • Ability and willingness to work at heights of at least 15ft, lift 50 lbs. and work in challenging locations
  • Ability to work weekends and off-hours to meet customer needs
  • Ability to travel up to 5%

  • Experience working in a regulated and/or controlled environment
  • Experience working within a quality system
