Occupational Health Nurse
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN License with a minimum of 2 years experience in occupational health nursing or equivalent nursing field experience
- Demonstrated success in identifying, assessing and controlling EH&S risk; organizational priority-setting skills, attention to detail and follow-through; understanding of risk management, including tolerable risk vs. compliance; and understanding of region (country/local) specific regulations
- Proven problem-solving skills, including incident investigation and root cause analysis, with strong written and verbal communication skills; computer skills – knowledge of Microsoft Office, etc
- Ability to prepare and submit reports; protect and maintain confidentiality of records/information
- Ability to develop and implement practical, effective, and cost sensitive risk-reduction solutions
- Ability to drive completion of multiple projects and priorities with competing resource needs
- Ability to build consensus and influence with a diverse group of Associates in safe behaviors and practices; effectively lead yourself and contribute in a team environment
- Ability to work within a diverse/cross functional team and actively engage and partner with manufacturing and technical Associates
- Ability to work off-shift hours, if needed
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications:
- Board certification in occupational health and case management nursing
- Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
- Experience with OHM electronic medical records system & in Worker’s Compensation case management
