QC Lab Technician (Gore-Temp)
About the Role: We are looking for a QC Lab Technician to join our quality lab team who will responsible for daily fabric testing works. This is a temporary role with 24 months contract.
This role will be located in Gore facility in Shenzhen, China.
- Test physical properties of fabric product and arrange accordingly based on the priority
- Able to follow detailed test procedures and work independently
- Perform or partner with internal customers on characterization and performance validation projects
- Execute experiments and analyze the result, to improve precision and accuracy of existing testing method, design experiments when is needed
- Troubleshoot problems and perform periodic maintenance on QC instrumentation
- Write SOPs, work instructions, calibration and maintenance procedures as well as train other lab associates on these procedures
- Develop new test methods independently or in partnership with engineers/ new product development
Required Qualifications:
- College education or above, hands-on experience working with a variety of testing instrumentation/ techniques.
- Good quality assurance concept and follow standard operation process strictly
- Strong service sense with high initiative
- Active learner, team player, willing to take challenge
- Sensitive on data, could use simple tools (like excel) to summarize and analyze data
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Preferably with textiles or material industry
- Experienced in the use of LIMS, practical English in both read and written
