Sales Training Strategist
About the Role: We are looking for a Sales Development Strategist to join the Sales Education Team in Gore Medical. In this role, we are seeking someone who is passionate about sales training, with an emphasis on the application of imaging modalities along the product continuum and demonstrates a deep commitment to teamwork, result-driven outcomes and driving impact to our customer, business and patients.
This position will be located at one of our facilities in Phoenix, Tempe, or Flagstaff, Arizona (with Phoenix being preferred), with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
- Develop, execute, and lead our sales training programs, inclusive of imaging programs, designed to meet the sales competencies and needs of the US Vascular sales team to acquire and elevate product, clinical confidence and business acumen
- Partner with cross-functional teams to execute on the sales education strategy to uphold Gore’s standards of educational excellence and ensure alignment with critical stakeholders such as: Sales, Marketing, Field Trainers, Product Specialists, Program Coordinators, Legal, Regulatory, and Sales Operations
- Lead and facilitate imaging training programs for Vascular Field Sales Associates on clinical procedures, disease state, business acumen through various delivery methods (instructor lead, in person, virtual, large group, small group)
- Engage as a key inputter and active representative to collect feedback from stakeholders about needs and/or gaps analyze the data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Serve as a strategic sales development partner for new and experienced Sales Associates equipping and empowering them to positively impact customer experience, business strategies, and their own associate development
- Support content development and collaborate with partners on alignment of programmatic structure and educational strategy
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications in one or more imaging modalities used in the endovascular space (CT, IVUS, angiography)
- Minimum 6 years of clinical experience including support of live cases and clinical education
- Experience leading projects, programs and/or cross-functional teams
- Wide breadth of knowledge around all Vascular devices, procedures, imaging modalities used in the endovascular space (CT, IVUS, angiography) and disease states addressed within the Vascular portfolio
- Collaborates well within a matrix organization
- Effective presentation and communication skills when delivering training on complex topics
- Proven aptitude in influence management, strategic thinking and problem solving
- Establish strong relationships and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and within project teams
- Excellent organization, execution and communication skills
- Ability and wiliness to travel up to 40%
This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training.
Hybrid Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s hybrid working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
