About the Role:  We are looking for an Order-to-Cash / EDI (OTC) Business Analyst with a strong understanding of sales and distribution transactions in key systems, including functional and technical designs to enable EDI transactions. This role requires a good understanding of order processing, billing, and accounts receivable processes, coupled with knowledge of SAP S/4HANA functionalities, to support efficiency, innovation, and digital transformation within our sales and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting teams through project lifecycles, translating strategies into actionable goals, and fostering collaboration to achieve impactful business outcomes.

  

This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at our facility in Newark, Delaware, hybrid or fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

   

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including order management, pricing, billing, credit management and EDI solutions 
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP OTC with other SAP modules (SD, MM, FI) in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Support the design and implementation of a standardized SAP S/4HANA OTC core model, leveraging industry best practices
  • Serve as a key liaison between business functions and technical teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of required documentation for project delivery, solution quality, and sustainability, including business requirements, functional specifications, gap analyses, test scripts, training content, and project reports
  • Partner with regional and cross-functional leaders to design and deploy scalable solutions while managing multiple implementations
 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP OTC tasks/modules, including experience with SAP S/4HANA in a sales and distribution environment
  • Experience implementing and supporting EDI EDIFACT and X12 standards for 830 (DELFOR), 856 (DESADV), 810 (INVOIC), 850 (ORDERS), and 855 (ORDRSP) message types
  • Experience with Order Processing, Billing, and Delivery processes
  • Understanding of sales and distribution processes, supply chain management, and customer service principles
  • Ability to support cross-functional teams, including vendors, contractors, and internal associates, through the implementation lifecycle by managing project objectives, facilitating effective decision-making, and ensuring on-time milestone delivery within budget
  • Ability to travel 20%

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Gore Performance Solutions Supply Chain
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., CMMC, ITAR)
  • Familiarity with additional SAP modules or technologies (e.g., IM, EWM, MM, SD, MES, IoT, AI)

 

Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
