About the Role: The Medical Products Division is looking for a Strategic Marketer to join our Vascular Team for the Central European Market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing the product, marketing, education, and customer engagement strategies in support of our Vascular Product Portfolio (Aortic / Peripheral) to ensure effective product life cycle management & revenue growth in partnership with other key functions in our Sales-, Product- and Marketing organization.
 
This is a remote position, and you can work from your home office in most locations within Germany.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop deep understanding of local market dynamics, competitive landscape and customer unmet needs to inform regional commercial opportunities and product pipelines
  • Adapt and implement global and regional marketing programs through the development of a local marketing and educational strategy including the execution of local customer engagements (e.g. Congresses & Events) and tactical plans.
  • Foster relationships and develop advocacy with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) at regional level.
  • Manage local marketing investments and develop and monitor KPIs and respective metrics to measure ROI and marketing effectiveness.
  • Support contracting and tenders in partnership with the Provider Sales & Marketing team and ensure alignment to regional pricing guidelines.
  • Develop deep product expertise for our Aortic / Peripheral Product Portfolio and provide product and clinical training to customers, business partners, and Gore Associates
  • Support local product lifecycle management
  • Drive product go-to-market strategy and launch execution in alignment with regional launch strategies, considering local regulatory requirements, pricing etc.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred and a proven track record of at least 3 years in a Product Manager role.
  • A sound understanding of the implantable medical device market is essential, knowledge of the vascular market is preferred
  • Ability to network effectively with clinical customers - in particular key opinion leaders
  • Proven ability to prioritize and plan, and influence and integrate effectively across functions
  • Ability to read and interpret scientific and clinical publications and data
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, team player
  • Excellent command of German and English
  • Ability to travel overnight (up to 50%)
  • High ethical standards and respect of compliance

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Vascular market and products
  • Existing KOL relationships
