Textile Development Engineer
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or advanced degree, major in textile related areas fields with minimum of 7 years solid work experience on new textile development and synthetic fibers (recycled & virgin nylon, polyester, sustainable textiles etc)
- In–depth knowledge of fiber & yarn, weaving & knitting, dyeing & finishing, inspection
- Good project management skills including ability to communicate with cross-functional teams, multi-task, prioritize and deliver result
- Able to identify technical uncertainties, propose resolving hypothesis and build plans to verify
- Self-motivated and self-directed, comfortable working in a rapid paced environment
- Excellent communication in both English and Mandarin (Written and Verbal)
- Ability to travel in Asia ~10%
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in coordinating multiple vendors and developing strong relationship with them
- Experience in Statistical tools, example of DoE, validation etc
