Explore the Possibilities: Gore offers a variety of opportunities for new graduate engineers, depending on your interests, skills and career goals. You could join us as a:
  • Process Engineer: You will design, develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products, ensuring quality, efficiency and safety.
  • Quality Engineer: You will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability and customer satisfaction, using data analysis, testing and continuous improvement methods.
  • Product Development Engineer: You will create and test innovative solutions for new and existing products, using your engineering knowledge and creativity.
  • Mechanical Design Engineer: You will design and model mechanical components and systems for our products, using CAD tools and simulation software.
  • Automation Controls / Design & Automation Engineer: You will design, program and implement automation systems and controls for our manufacturing processes and products, using PLCs, robotics, sensors and other technologies.
 

Required Qualifications: 

  •  B. S. and/or M. S. students graduating December 2024 – August 2025 and majoring in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, Materials (or Polymer, Fiber, Textile) Science/Engineering, or Bio/Bio-medical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Robotics Engineering.
  • Ability to appropriately adapt and respond effectively in real time to changing situations and circumstances.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations and analyze diverse data to identify what is critical and solve problems. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and fairly with others, leveraging collective expertise to achieve shared goals. 
  • Demonstrates integrity and authenticity to gain the confidence and trust of others by consistently following through on commitments and aligning actions with words.
  • Demonstrates a strong interest and ability to continuously learn and grow and a willingness to take on work that expands capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) in various circumstances, aligned to audience needs. Actively listens and fosters the sharing of ideas from others.
  • Consistently achieves results by holding oneself accountable and overcoming obstacles to accomplish objectives. 
  • Ability to build and maintain cross-functional networks with people to achieve objectives.
