About the Role: We are looking for talented hands-on individuals who have demonstrated the initiative to apply engineering fundamentals to technical challenges and successfully navigate ambiguity to solve problems and deliver results. As an engineer at Gore, you will typically work in cross-functional project teams focused around a common goal. The ability to partner with other disciplines and adapt to the latest technology is essential.

  

This role will be located at our facility in Santa Clara, California. 

  

Pay and Benefits:

  • $92,275 - $110,730 per year
  • Factors considered in extending an offer within this pay range include (but not limited to) education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.

  

Responsibilities: 

  

Gore offers a variety of opportunities for new graduate engineers, depending on your interests, skills, and career goals. You could join us as a:

  • Process Engineer: You will design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Quality Engineer: You will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction, using data analysis, testing and continuous improvement methods.
  • Product Development Engineer: You will create and test innovative solutions for new and existing products, using your engineering knowledge and creativity.
  • Mechanical Design Engineer: You will design and model mechanical components and systems for our products, using CAD tools and simulation software.
  • Automation Controls / Design & Automation Engineer: You will design, program, and implement automation systems and controls for our manufacturing processes and products, using PLCs, robotics, sensors, and other technologies.

Required Qualifications: 

  • B. S. and/or M. S. students currently enrolled in an ABET accredited program, graduating December 2024 – August 2025 and majoring in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, Materials (or Polymer, Fiber, Textile) Science/Engineering, or Bio/Bio-medical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Robotics Engineering
  • Prior Gore internship or co-op experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and successfully apply engineering fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, initiate, and drive projects to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to inclusively collaborate with others to solve problems
  • Demonstration of technical curiosity and initiative that leads to deeper understanding
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in work by identifying and responding to needs based on an understanding of situational context and logical analysis of relevant information
  • Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
