About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated ASEAN Business Manager to join our dynamic team in the medical devices sector. In this role, you will be a strategic leader with comprehensive knowledge of the ASEAN market, particularly its regulatory environment, go to market models and business dynamics. The selected candidate will be responsible for spearheading our business operations across the ASEAN region, developing and implementing effective market strategies that align with our corporate objectives.

 

The ASEAN Business Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure that all growth plans and initiatives are executed successfully. In addition, this role demands a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, cultivating robust relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will also continuously monitor and report market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and key action plans to drive growth.

This role will be located in our facility in Singapore.

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies and implementation plan for the ASEAN region aligned with the company's goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the ASEAN market
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer demands to inform strategic planning and go to market plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams regionally and globally to ensure comprehensive execution of business initiatives and outcomes
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, and regulatory officials
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the regional sales and marketing teams to drive business performance
  • Prepare and present regular reports on market performance, sales forecasts, and achievement of business objectives
  • Establish clear expectations of equitable and inclusive behaviors from Associates and acts immediately to appropriately address negatively impactful or unfair behavior

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business management, marketing or sales (direct and/or distribution) within the biopharma and medical devices industry
  • Strong understanding of the ASEAN healthcare market, including its regulatory requirements, healthcare dynamics and buyer process
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing business strategies for market entry and growth acceleration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Self-starter who demonstrates strategic thinking with strong implementation drive
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional ASEAN languages being a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaborative efforts
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

      

 Desired Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in the endovascular intervention category is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Prior experience in business development or marketing is a plus
  • One or more ASEAN local language capability is a plus
