About the Role: We are looking for an Event Manager to join our Event Services team.  In this role, you will utilize your creativity and excellent organizational skills to coordinate trade shows and events in the medical division. You will be expected to provide the best customer experience during all trade shows and events, to understand and communicate the value of Gore and support and grow the value of the Enterprise brands, and to ensure communication and alignment of trade show and event strategy with marketing and business strategy.

 

This position will be located at our Deer Valley 2 facility in Phoenix, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

 
Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and coordinate event goals, budget, objectives and marketing strategies, in conjunction with stakeholders
  • Complete all aspects of meeting coordination and implementation, including event registration, hotel accommodations, associate registration, asset/equipment planning and deliver
  • Communicate all event activities proactively with appropriate stakeholders at all times
  • Promote staff effectiveness during event
  • Perform on-site or virtual show briefing, communications, and problem solving
  • Coordinate side functions during event, such as symposiums, meetings, receptions, research
  • Maintain relationships with industry partners, doctors and societies for future shows
  • Collect and track appropriate show metrics including costs, leads, campaign results, attendee information
  • Prepare and distribute show ROI analysis/report
  • Conduct debrief meetings with stakeholders to discuss past and future needs
 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience planning, prioritizing and managing multiple events and projects (high volume)
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Drive for efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Action-oriented (strong drive for follow-through and completion) and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated good judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems promptly and professionally
  • Ability to build relationships and create value within a cross functional environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience in healthcare and/or Medical Device industry
  • Experience hosting Virtual events
  • Experience with Cvent software
