Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in subjects such as Biology, Toxicology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or similar experience
  • Minimum 5 years experiences in a regulatory role, with a working knowledge of chemicals/chemistry
  • Experience or demonstrated ability to understand global chemical and product regulations and industry standards (bluesign® Oeko-tex)
  • Active communicator with excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills, including incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Actively engage and build partnerships broadly across the value chain (e.g.  procurement, suppliers, new product development, Product Specialists, Quality, Process Engineers, Legal)
  • Effectively lead yourself and effectively contribute in a global, virtual team environment
  • Ability to drive completion of multiple projects and priorities with competing resource needs
  • Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Strong ability to recognise IP and other different waterlines
  • Ability to travel 20%

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in textile/apparel manufacturing related fields
  • Applicants should be active communicators, passionate about working on sustainability initiatives and able to express the importance of industry requirements to long term business continuity
