Facility Mechanic
Required Qualifications:
- Journey level mechanical skills with minimum 5 years hands-on experience in an industrial production facility directly supporting facilities equipment and infrastructure.
- Experience with Facility systems including Ventilation, Steam, Compressed air, Hot and Chilled Water and Water treatments systems.
- Experience utilizing a Building Automation System (Trane, Andover, or similar)
- Ability to effectively and proactively communicate both verbally and in writing via Microsoft office products
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment including, working from ladders, aerial lifts, and wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Demonstrated experience working independently as well as with cross-functional team prioritizing multiple self-performed tasks and managing contracted work.
- Ability to work from as well as create written procedures and scopes or work.
- Ability to work overtime, perform on call duties after normal working hours and weekend as part of a rotating on call schedule and support of two annual Facilities Shutdown and ability to travel up to 5%.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associates degree in a mechanical discipline
- Stationary Engineering License
- Experience maintaining Thermal Oxidizers or other pollution control equipment.
