Human Resources Internship Opportunity
About the Role: Join Gore's Human Resources team for a dynamic and immersive internship experience. This program is designed to provide you with a deeper understanding of human resource functions, with a primary focus on Integrated Talent Management. Over the course of the internship, you will learn about various disciplines, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to different aspects of global human resource operations and systems.
Experience a supportive and collaborative work environment interacting with experienced human resource Associates who will provide mentorship and guidance throughout the internship. There will be opportunities to network with Associates across the organization, to work with global teams, as well as with other interns.
- Talent Development: Assist in designing and implementing training programs, workshops, and development initiatives aimed at building Associate skills. Participate in the creation of learning materials and support the facilitation of training sessions.
- Talent Management: Support efforts to build and retain talent by participating in projects related to performance management processes and competency assessment.
- Associate Engagement: Contribute to employee engagement initiatives by organizing events, conducting surveys, and analyzing feedback to improve Associate satisfaction.
- Human Resource Operations: Gain exposure to operations, including onboarding, performance management, Associate relations and compliance with policies and regulations.
Location: On-site in Newark, Delaware, United States
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Learning & Development or a related field.
- Ability to appropriately adapt and respond effectively in real time to changing situations and circumstances.
- Ability to navigate complex situations and analyze diverse data to identify what is critical and solve problems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and fairly with others, leveraging collective expertise to achieve shared goals.
- Demonstrates integrity and authenticity to gain the confidence and trust of others by consistently following through on commitments and aligning actions with words.
- Demonstrates a strong interest and ability to continuously learn and grow and a willingness to take on work that expands capabilities.
