Required Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years experience in an Engineering position supporting a Manufacturing organization
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous process improvement and applying lean manufacturing techniques - Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
  • Proficient in CAD software, Servo and/or PLC applications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and improve electromechanical issues through fundamental understanding of the functionality of mechanical systems used in manual assembly processes
  • Ability to document, communicate, and present technical bodies of work 
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team, including influencing across functions
  • Ability to identify critical issues and failure modes, creating a framework of action to address these issues and assess root cause including effective risk-based decision making 
  • Ability to travel up to 5%

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience in a Regulated Industry 
  • Experience coaching or mentoring 
  • Experience with quality systems, documentation, and methodologies (for example, GMP, ISO 9001, APQP, House of Quality, etc.)
