Manufacturing Engineer
Required Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years experience in an Engineering position supporting a Manufacturing organization
- Demonstrated experience with continuous process improvement and applying lean manufacturing techniques - Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
- Proficient in CAD software, Servo and/or PLC applications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and improve electromechanical issues through fundamental understanding of the functionality of mechanical systems used in manual assembly processes
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team, including influencing across functions
- Ability to identify critical issues and failure modes, creating a framework of action to address these issues and assess root cause including effective risk-based decision making
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a Regulated Industry
- Experience coaching or mentoring
- Experience with quality systems, documentation, and methodologies (for example, GMP, ISO 9001, APQP, House of Quality, etc.)
