Quality Control Lab Associate
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience performing quality control testing
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Teams)
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated success working autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed written procedures
- Demonstrated ability to recommend and implement changes to existing test methods and procedures through a standardized process
- Demonstrated ability to learn more advanced systems
- Ability to learn a variety of new tests and lab instrumentation
- Ability to multitask and set priorities
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a science or engineering field
- Hands-on experience working with instrumentation/techniques, such as: tensile, thermal analysis, MVTR, water entry pressure, porometry, airflow, microscopy, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry.
- Previous experience working within quality system, as well as a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and/or Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
This position requires access to export-controlled areas and information. Candidates must be "U.S. persons" as that term is defined in 8 USC §1324b(a)(3).
