About the Role: We are looking for an SAP Test Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts for SAP S4/Hana implementation projects, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and the acceptability of the solution to the end user. You will work closely with the technical, value stream and business teams to define test strategies, create test plans, crate test scripts and drive planning and execution of all levels of solution testing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the Enterprise Transformation initiative.

  

This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

 

 Pay and Benefits:

  • $110,000 - $160,000 per year
  • Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive test strategy, detailed planning and execution for the release testing efforts within the SAP S4 Program implementation
  • Lead the development and implementation of test strategies, plans, and cases in collaboration with the technical team, the SAP value stream teams and the business
  • Organize and collaborate with program teams to understand requirements and design test scenarios
  • Execute tests, report defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues within Focus Build in SAP solution Manger
  • Provide direction for testers onshore and offshore across all testing cycles (SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance)
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing, including driving further adoption of automated testing
  • Provide updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an SAP Test LEAD in complex, large scale implementations
  • Minimum of 2 SAP projects with proven ownership of Full end-to-end testing (strategy, detailed planning, resourcing, execution, defect resolution, closeout) 
  • In-depth expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Proven ability to influence key stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and technical teams, to drive alignment on test strategy and priorities
  • Expertise in planning and tracking all phases of SAP testing with a focus on delivering high-quality results within project timelines and resource constraints
  • Excellent communication skills with proven leadership abilities in managing test teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring alignment with project goals
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure test activities are well-coordinated across teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all test cases, documentation, and defect tracking are thorough, accurate, and aligned with project requirements
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving for resolving complex issues
  • Ability to travel 25%, if applicable 

  

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Focus Build/ Solution Manger Testing tool
  • Experience with automated testing tools, including Tricentis
