About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Strategic Global HR Business Partner to be a key member of the Gore Fabrics HR team supporting our Gore Fabrics Ingredients Business. As a Strategic Global HR Business Partner, you will support our global Footwear, Gloves & Accessories Business as well as our Americas Regional Commercial Organization to align our people strategy with the strategic direction and priorities of the business. In your role, you will act as a strategic partner, advisor and coach to the members of Business and Functional Leadership Teams, establishing high trust relationships, proactively working with and influencing leaders, teams, and associates on a wide range of Business and HR topics to drive success and fulfill our brand promise of Together, improving life.

 

This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

  

Pay and Benefits:

  • $140,000 - $180,000 per year
  • Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities: 
  • Serve as primary HR partner for senior global and regional business and functional leaders to support the business growth and offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy, priorities and execution
  • Understand the business strategy, identify and follow through on opportunities to increase alignment with the strategy by helping leaders identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes
  • Act as advocate for leading talent management and development processes focusing on enhancing the capabilities of leaders, building required skills and capabilities of Associates, and ensuring strong and diverse succession bench strength
  • Diagnose gaps between current and desired organization performance and deploy and facilitate actions to resolve gaps, including organization redesign and transformation, process change, change leadership, coaching and training
  • Analyze workforce trends to model and forecast future resource requirements to support leaders in workforce planning and succession management
  • Review key business performance targets and their related talent implications with leaders
  • Align performance and development strategies with Total Rewards approaches to foster an engaging and respectful environment of commitment, and drive accountability to outcomes and contribution across teams
  • Be an active member and partner closely with our global Gore Fabrics HR Team as well as our Enterprise global HR Services and HR COEs to ensure HR delivery is aligned with business needs and well-executed

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree (focus on HR, Organizational Effectiveness or related field preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR functional experience (both operational and strategic) of which a minimum 5 years experience is partnering with senior business and functional leaders within diverse organizational contexts
  • Demonstrated experience and capability in leadership coaching and consulting, complex facilitation, contracting, conflict resolution, change leadership, organizational design and development
  • Experience in driving and implementing effective Integrated Talent processes
  • Strong working knowledge of human resources practices and core people processes
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across a global matrix organization, as well as x-cultural relationship and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative workforce data, recognize trends, tie back to business priorities and develop recommendations based on data analysis
  • Ability to establish credibility, proactive approach, able to deal effectively with ambiguity and transformation; acts as a trusted thought-partner
  • Ability to travel up to 20% 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Masters Degree (HR focus or MBA)
  • Experience supporting x-functional business teams
  • Proficiency in SAP/Success Factors; MS Office Suite required

 

To minimize disruption to the business, while supporting growth and development, Associates are expected to fulfill a minimum of 2 years in commitment before applying to another internal commitment. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved.
