About the Role: We are looking for a Value Stream Leader to join GMC’s (Gore Medical Components) Forecast to Make (Forecast to Plan / Plan to Make) Digital Transformation team to build solutions that meet the business needs for a diverse set of manufacturing processes. In this role, you will support aspects of design, configuration, development, and operational support that can cover multiple applications.  This role will also diagnose problems and determine appropriate corrective actions to bring SAP and related domain application issues to resolution.

  

This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, or in Flagstaff, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days remote), depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

 
Responsibilities: 
  • Identify and resolve key design decisions within the Forecast to Make (including Forecast-to-Plan, Plan-to-Make and Quality Assurance) value stream that impact GMC’s business and manufacturing processes as well as the facilities that we work within
  • Ensure functional accuracy, test the integration of the solution with other applications, and ensure interfaces can be executed in an iterative manner while documenting appropriate changes and enhancements in alignment with Gore IT Quality practices
  • Support critical activities such as business-specific configuration, procedure creation, system testing that are needed to implement an SAP-based solution
  • Ensure localized solution implementation is aligned with the global template and surface & resolve decisions that impact the global template in partnership with GMC’s shared SAP instance partners, GPS (Gore Performance Solutions) and GF (Gore Fabrics)
  • Partner with the GMC Digital Leadership and GMC Functional Leadership to anticipate & seek resolution to the business implications of instance solution architecture decisions
  • Support processes, data and documentation that may be impacted due to deployment of new or updated systems including knowledge transfer to operational teams or related application support teams
  • Partner with vendors, partners, and users across functions to design, implement and test solutions and interfaces

 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more business process areas related to Scheduling, Planning, Forecasting, Manufacturing, Quality Management
  • Demonstrated functional and technical understanding of business process areas
  • Demonstrated success affecting broad change in areas such as business processes, documented procedures, data flow, Associate behaviors and organizational design
  • Experience partnering across diverse teams (IT, manufacturing, engineering, broad leadership) and with external partners
  • Experience participating in SAP deployment and sustainment activities
  • Willingness to learn new technical solutions and business processes
  • Strong technical, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of operational support tools within SAP Solution Manager (and managed systems) and Fiori applications
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams
