About the Role: We are looking for an SAP Program Manager (f/m/d) to join our Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) organization. In this role, you will manage the SAP S/4HANA Implementation program for the Gore EMEA region, including multiple business processes like Order to Cash, Record to Report, Forecast to Plan, Plan to Make, Source to Pay, Logistics & Warehouse Management and Master Data Governance.

 

This position will be located at either one of our facilities in Putzbrunn, near Munich, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and execute project management for the SAP S/4HANA Implementation Program in EMEA
  • Plan and organize the overall S/4HANA EMEA Program, and lead efforts to deliver
  • Provide guidance and project leadership to the entire SAP S/4HANA EMEA Program
  • Drive the S/4HANA EMEA Program forward to deliver on time, on scope, and within budget
  • Lead the SAP S/4HANA EMEA Project Management team, working together with workstream PMs, business PMs, and the System Integrator Program Manager to ensure delivery of the S/4HANA EMEA Program
  • Create, manage, update, and monitor detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates (effort, timing, resources), status reports, decisions, change requests, risk analysis, and progress of plans against milestones
  • Maintain Jira and Microsoft Project Integrated Schedule for the S/4HANA EMEA Program, keep Jira and the integrated schedule up to date, and manage and facilitate program meetings and workshops as required
  • Manage dependencies and intersections with interrelated SAP value streams or projects (for example SAP Upgrade project, Central Finance, Surround Capabilities projects, Gore business projects, Legacy system integration projects, etc as applicable)
  • Manage and monitor vendor tasks and vendor resources and track vendor deliverables as required
  • Utilize and follow Gore’s SAP S/4HANA Implementation Runbook, which specifies the tools, templates, and methods to be used to implement SAP at Gore

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing SAP implementation projects or programs
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing IT projects or programs in complex environments, with strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project management methods and tools
  • Demonstrated experience communicating project status, daily task management and proactive risk/issue tracking and resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and competing priorities and projects
  • Ability to work across diverse groups and global teams with a common goal; and able to work through differences to reach consensus 
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, as well as strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to travel globally (approximately 10%)

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Project Management or Agile Certification
  • Expertise in use of Jira and MS Project
  • Fluent in German
