Quality Control Lab Associate

Required Qualifications:  

• Associate degree in science or engineering, OR a minimum of 5 years experience in a quality control testing lab
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills based on strong theoretical knowledge
• Solid computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Teams) with the ability to learn more advanced systems
• Demonstrated success working autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrated effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed written procedures with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to recommend and implement changes to existing test methods and procedures through a standardized process
• Demonstrated ability to successfully drive projects to completion
• Ability to learn a variety of new tests and QC lab instrumentation
• Ability to multitask and set priorities

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in a science or engineering field
• Hands-on experience working with instrumentation/techniques, such as: tensile, thermal analysis, MVTR, water entry pressure, porometry, airflow, microscopy, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry
• Previous experience working within quality system, as well as a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and/or Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

This position requires access to export-controlled areas and information. Candidates must be "U.S. persons" as that term is defined in 8 USC §1324b(a)(3).
