Colorist
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the Textile/Fabrics color industry OR demonstrated relative knowledge or education
- Minimum of 6 months direct experience in color development and/or color evaluation
- Experience working with textile mills, dyehouses, textile printers
- Familiar with system (Outlook, PLM platforms, Equipment Software – IQ color)
- Work both independently and as part of a team & have a continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach
- Must have high color acuity & pass the Farnsworth Munsell Industry Standard Requirement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence across customers, suppliers, and key internal stakeholders
- Strong organizational and project management skills with proven ability to prioritize, organize, and drive multiple projects and/or customer support activities
- Ability to work in a high paced environment with multiple business expectations & demonstrate self-motivation & ability to work at a fast pace across changing environments
- Ability to travel 5%
Desired Qualifications:
- Technical degree in Textiles or related fields
- Experience working with the Government/Defense Industry
- Experience with color management software and spectrophotometer
