Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science 
  • Minimum 5 years of successful market development, sales, product management or strategic marketing experience with technical products
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience in the Chinese Automotive industry at the Tier 1 or Tier 2 level
  • Strong and relevant technical competence, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Materials Product Engineering related to Li Ion Batteries
  • Track record of successful New Business Development in the Auto Battery sector
  • Demonstrated good judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems promptly
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Ability to integrate market needs with technology innovation
  • Ability to drive and coordinate  projects externally as well as internally and understand technical concepts and complexity
  • Ability to travel up to 30% 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Relevant experience in global Automotive environment
  • Direct, working experience with electrified vehicle components 
  • Strong market experience, credibility, and established relationships
  • Strong, established relationships with China OEM’s
  • Strong and fluent English language skills
  • Be passionate about engaging with Customers to understand their needs
  • Be focused on identifying, understanding, and developing new opportunities
  • Be energized by working and collaborating on cross-functional teams
