About the Role: We are looking for a SAP Integrations Champion (f/m/d) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA solutions for Gore Fabrics. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure the alignment of SAP S/4HANA with the strategic goals and operational needs of Gore Fabrics while maintaining a clean core of SAP. You will also oversee the governance, quality, and security of SAP S/4HANA data and processes. This will be a matrix role where you will provide direction to associates in Fabrics applications, infrastructure, security, and key partners outside of Fabrics to ensure we deliver on our SAP priorities.
This position will be located at our facility in Bavaria, Germany, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the SAP S/4HANA roadmap and architecture for Gore Fabrics business capabilities
- Provide mentorship and coaching to the SAP S/4HANA digital and technical team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation for Gore Fabrics
- Collaborate with business, IT teams, and external partners to define and deliver SAP S/4HANA solutions that meet the business requirements and best practices.
- Review decision documents and RAID items to facilitate choices with the business to balance best practices and business impact
- Provide cross process (OTC, PTM, LWM, etc) expertise to help drive towards a decision while surfacing implications across Fabrics’ functions
- Understand Gore's Business Process Hierarchy and change requests to clarify scope and process implications. Translate needs into scope for each release of SAP
- Ensure the integration, testing, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA solutions, including data migration, configuration, customization, and enhancement for Gore Fabrics.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SAP S/4HANA issues with the cross division team to provide timely and effective resolution for Gore Fabrics
- Ensure the compliance, security, and quality of SAP S/4HANA data and processes for Gore Fabrics in collaboration with the other divisions to meet standards and best practices
- Ensure SAP S/4HANA training and support is provided to end users and promote the adoption and optimization of SAP S/4HANA functionalities in Gore Fabrics
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field
- Minimum 20 years' experience of hands-on project delivery with SAP ERP, with minimum 5 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA
- SAP Advisory experience with proven experience guiding businesses in the following areas: SAP expertise, SAP execution methodology, and different project methodologies with the ability to translate that into business activities
- Experience influencing without authority
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules, functionalities, and integration, especially in the areas of finance, logistics, production, and quality management
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful SAP S/4HANA projects, preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure
- Ability to travel 30%
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA or related areas is a plus
- Experience with Agile project delivery methodology
- Experience with SAP Tools such as Solution Manager, MDG, SAP Test Suite or similar application, SAP Signavio BPMS or similar application, SAP OSS, etc.
This position requires access to information or items that are export controlled under U.S. law.
