About the Role: We are looking for an SAP S/4 HANA IT Analyst (f/m/d) for Finance to join our SAP Rollout Team for EMEA.  In this role, you will act as an SAP Subject Matter Expert in RTR (Record to Report) processes and the related applications globally. You will be partnering with other functional experts and external consultants in coordinating and leading configuration design, as well as collaborating with other IT team members e.g. solution architects, functional analysts, as well as business teams in the implementation of Continuous Improvement works. The commitment will also a key role in upskilling team members in SAP best practices.

 

This position will be located at our facility in Putzbrunn, near Munich, with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide implementation, maintenance, continuous improvement services as part of an SAP Finance team, helping to configure the system, addressing issues, performing system updates, implementing changes, and ensuring system stability
  • Leverage hands-on configuration knowledge to upskill others and teach standard, out of the box functionality to other team members
  • Propose and deliver the best-fit solutions for Gore as per industry best practices, with strong partnership with others in the team/IT e.g., Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Functional Experts and Analysts, as well as Businesses
  • Design, configure, and implement the SAP S/4 HANA Finance module (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking and Product Costing) using the SAP Activate methodology
  • Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate the functionality and performance of the solution
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices to continuously improve SAP solutions and provide recommendations to clients

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years working experience as an SAP S/4 HANA functional expert or consultant specialized in FI/CO
  • Strong understanding of integrated business processes around Finance (e.g., FI-SD, FI-MM and FI-Manufacturing)
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of SAP Activate methodology and its application in implementing SAP solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in systems and processes
  • Good orgaizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deliverables and analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations
  • Proven experience in large scale, complex SAP S/4 HANA implementations with focusing on sustainment (multi region, multi-industry)
  • Effectively work virtually across multiple time zones and cultures

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of CFIN, Magnitude
  • SAP certification in relevant modules, such as SAP S/4 HANA FI, CO, CFIN, is highly desirable
