R&D Technician
About the Role: We are looking for an R&D technician to join our team. In this role, you will work with Business team (NPD Engineer/Application Engineer/Quality Engineer) to conduct test, lead trouble shooting/failure analysis, develop new test methods and communicate with team.
This role will be located in our facility in Shenzhen, China.
Responsibilities:
- Perform test according to Engineer’s requirement. Record/analyze test result; lead trouble shooting/failure analysis for abnormal test results
- Develop new test methods by cooperation with Engineer, including test system setup, trouble shooting and test system optimization
- Assist engineer to set up and validate new test equipment/new test methods
- Maintain and continuously improve existing testing equipment/test methods
- Follow lab safety guideline and 5S requirement to ensure lab in good condition
- Help engineers on other new product development tasks
Required Qualifications:
- College degree or above, engineering education background. Prefer high polymer material, Chemistry, Electrical, Mechanical related major
- Minimum of 1 year technical experience in quality lab or NPD lab testing; fresh graduated can be also considered
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)
- Hands-on working style with the desire and ability to work in the lab
- Demonstrated ability to follow written procedures, patient, and good attention to detail
- Ability to read English literature and write simple English email
- Ability to analyze test result, good at summing up
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience at building non-standard test systems
- Material test/analysis experience and acoustic test experience
- Strong logical thinking, with engineer thinking
